Venue: Schumpeter Labor

The conference will take place at the Inffeldgasse Campus of Graz University of Technology in Graz, Austria.

The main conference will take place at the Schumpeter Laboratory at Inffeldgasse 11. The lunch breaks will be organized at the Mensa in Inffeldgasse 10.

Social Event

On Thursday, September 17th, we will depart from the conference venue at 13:30 for an excursion to the Zotter chocolate factory, located east of Graz. The program includes a tour through the factory with plenty of opportunities to taste the various products offered.

Following the visit, we will head to a traditional Buschenschank, a Styrian wine tavern, to enjoy a relaxed evening with regional specialties. The menu will feature locally sourced cold cuts, traditional Styrian fare, and a selection of local beverages. To complement the Styrian specialties, the event will include the announcement of the winners of the FMCAD25 Best Paper Awards.

Bus transfers to and from the conference venue are available for all participants.

Travel

From the Airport

The airport is located in the south of Graz. It is about 10 kilometers from the center of the town. Although there is a bus from the airport which leads you to the Graz main station (Hauptbahnhof) [and from there you could proceed as described below], the easiest way is to use a taxi. The fare should be between 18 and 22 €.

From the Trainstation

Once you arrived at Graz main station (Graz Hauptbahnhof) you take the tram line 6 (marked “St. Peter”). The tram requires approximately 15-20 minutes to take you to the stop “Schulzentrum St. Peter”, opposite the university campus “Inffeldgasse”. After a 3 minute walk you reach the Schumpeter Laboratory.
